Buzz chop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves the chop action. Visor opens and closes to locked positions so it doesn't just flop around. Very posable body except for the fingers. Lots of different phrases for chop action and big front button. Although I do wish that the other other buttons were pressable or that the laser button was functional.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Buzz is an awesome toy! Our 3 year old loves this toy. He takes it everywhere with him including to bed. Making the face piece operational was a big hit. We have a smaller one that the face piece isn't functional and he doesn't seem to play with that one as much now.

Fun, but no off switch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is was so excited to get this toy. It is a classic Buzz Lightyear. It has two buttons. One is just makes Buzz say a lot of different phrases and the other makes him Karate chop while saying something. Overall, great for a 4 year old. My one issue is that it had no off switch...can I just say that is super annoying. Other than that it is really good solid quality. This thing can take a beating from my son and still look good. I'm glad he likes it and I would recommend it for kids who love Toy Story and want a toy with an interactive aspect to it.

Obsessed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is totally in love with all things Toy Story so Buzz is perfect. Not only does he say a bunch of different things be also says funny things when you move his arm. My daughter gets a kick out of that. Buzz is built very sturdy. My daughter is hard on toys and Buzz lives on. His limbs all move making posing him and playing with him even more fun.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Your Little Toy Story Fan Will Love This

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great toy, very reminiscent of the Toy Story toys that came out in the 90s and it gave this 30something a little nostalgia kick. Buzz does a karate chop, says catchphrases, and his helmet can be opened and closed. He is very well-articulated for a child's toy, so much so that he is even able to be seated in a "criss cross applesauce" position. These features will add up to many hours of imaginative play for your child.

He says plenty of sayings from the movie and does the karate chop motion. He is a very sturdy toy even with the helmet opening and closing. The only thing that would have made it better is if his wings opened.

Karate Buzz Lightyear Action-Chop Figure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall Buzz Lightyear is very similar to previous issued figures with new phrases and the action karate chop right arm. It was cool that new phrases were activated with the action chop, but they were a little out of sync with the action. Pushing in the back button starts the action and Buzz talking, but sometimes the words and the action did not go together. It would have been more realistic if the arm movement, speech and the words used were in sync and appropriate for Buzz's action chop. Some were and some weren't.
Regardless of the above children will have great fun with this toy as with previous Buzz lightyear figures. I would recommend this toy to both children and collectors as the actions and speech are entertaining and the toy well made. In the USA Toy Story is still very popular with Buzz Lightyear a favorite character. I expect this toy to last well given the quality construction although I could see children tempted to use the chopping arm to try and break pencils etc leading to some damage or failure of the arm.
Regardless of the above children will have great fun with this toy as with previous Buzz lightyear figures. I would recommend this toy to both children and collectors as the actions and speech are entertaining and the toy well made. Still a great toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't think this toy will ever get old. My now 30 year old brother loved this toy as a kid when the movie came out so of course he got my kids in to Toy Story. We had gotten a Buzz Light year a while back, but it stopped making sounds. My kids had been asking for a new one for a while and I finally broke down and got them a replacement. And the excitement over it is just crazy. They are in love with it all over again!
I would recommend this to a friend!
