Inreach service is a joke, bezel not very durable.

The watch is ok, however the titanium bezel is pretty scratch prone, and the inreach service is a joke. To be able to message others they need to download and install Garmin’s
Messenger app. So basically you can’t message anyone with it. For the money, I should have just gone with the CHEAPER Apple Watch Ultra.

I've been a Garmin user for 20 years, and this is by far the buggiest software I've ever seen them ship. The watch simply crashes and restarts all the time in the middle of runs. It's also incredibly slow and unresponsive. Sometimes I press a button and have to wait five seconds (literally) before the watch responds. There's also just a huge number of little things that need to get sorted (like music not showing the song title that's playing unless you skip the song or pause).
I'm glad they brought LTE/Satellite functionality to the 43mm size, and the new case, with metal all the way around, is handsome.
If the software gets sorted out, I'm sure it'll be a great watch. I can't recommend that anyone buy it at present.

Disappointed with the battery

Bought this item with the hopes that getting the upgrade of technology from my Fenix Sapphire 6 would be amazing. I can save the screen clarity and touchscreen options have been great. I have not been able to easily navigate the phone connection, talk to text, reply to text features as easily as it states. I did subscribe to the annual inreach. Unfortunately, the battery dies extremely fast. I can start off in the morning with 100% and by the afternoon I’m 30 something percent which I do not believe is normal. I have limited a good portion of notifications even ones that I typically would have on my phone just to help save the battery. Nothing seems to Work. I will say that is causing an extremely disappointing experience thus far.

2 weeks in and so far so good. Been a longtime Apple watch Ultra wearer so I'm still getting use to it, but, I like the Fenix and the functionality.

Grandma staying active

This is my third Garmin, and by far the best. I am a Grandma who wants to be active and track how my exercise and nutrition all go together. These new features and connect plus allow me to effortlessly take a look at my daily routine, my food intake and plan for future events! lol the added maps, communications a d emergency feature makes my family happy! This Lupus gal can stay ahead of it all with this amazing tool from Garmin!!! Small price to pay for some freedom to roam and have fun again!! Thank you Garmin
