Outstanding phone system!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to share my feedback on the Panasonic KX-TGD864 phone system. We recently upgraded from a previous Panasonic model for our landline, and the technological advances are impressive. Setup was straightforward, and all necessary accessories, including batteries, were provided. Linking the system to our cellular phones is a great feature, and I am really enjoying the convenience. The call quality, battery life, and advanced functions have all exceeded my expectations. My favorite feature so far is the Call Block button on the handset, which instantly disconnects the call and adds the number to the block list. Overall, I am very impressed with this system. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Big update over older models!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This system is an upgrade for my older Panasonic Link2Cell cordless phone system.
I use these only with our two cell phones; not with a landline. If our phones are sitting on a charger, or are on silent, these phones still ring and announce text messages throughout the house, with distinct rings so you know from which phone the activity originates. The older system didn't announce text messages, but this system does, and it works perfectly, announcing the sender's name (if in the phone book).
The sound quality for calls is also a big improvement over the earlier model.
Overall, I'm very happy with this upgrade.

Unhappy with product. Drops calls, cannot connect every time. Could not transfer contacts from cell phone. Cannot make conference call. Would prefer to return for full refund

We are sorry to hear that your experience did not match your expectations. Your feedback helps us do better! If you wish to make conference calls, please make sure that the Call Sharing option is set to On on the phone system. This option can be set by pressing Menu on a handset, then the # key and entering 194. Following that make sure that On is highlighted and press Save. When transferring the phonebook from your cell phone, please make sure to select the group where you cell phone is connected and please try both the Manual and Auto version for the transfer, as not all cell phones support Auto transfer.

Bought this to replace an older model which served me well. This has more features like cellphone linking, Like that there is no longer a sound button on the side of the handset. I many times accidentally changed the volume. Excellent sound quality. Very happy with this purchase.
