Got our twin over twin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got our twin over twin low bunk bed and my brother and I assembled it in about 2 hours. Quality is just ok, the long bars for the top bunk flex and bend when I lean over the side to put my little one to bed, so there's some concern about the longevity of the piece. And the vertical slats at the end, that enclose the bottom side next to the ladder wiggle and move, so they're in but aren't flush in place, suppose I would need to add some glue then. And the same problem with the end with the ladder, my little one was leaning on that small section of rail and felt it flex and bend, so again, just doesn't seem very strong. Overall it's fine and should do the job for now while they're little but this isn't going to be able to support them much past elementary years.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of these bunkbeds for my upstairs bunk room for my grandkids. They look great, they are sturdy, and the kids love them!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love this bed! The material is such good quality and it was not hard to put together! Definitely worth the price!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleasantly surprised by how good the quality was. I didn't expect such a good product for the price point. It took about 3 hours to assemble by myself, but it was totally worth it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bunk bed is awesome for our 5 and 2 year old boys. I thought we were going to have to wait years to get them bunk beds and then I saw these low profile bunks and knew they would be the perfect size. I'm only 5 foot tall and my head comes up over the top railing. Their room is small and their beds were both in rough shape, but we didn't want to pay for "in between" beds and we wanted beds sturdy enough to last as they get bigger.
As far as sturdiness goes, they supposedly hold 400 lbs each, but I'm not sure if that is accurate. We tell our 5 year old not to jump or stand on it because we can see it bowing with that kind of pressure. It seems fine when he uses it appropriately. Also, the side slats (safety rails) bow when he leans on them so I've asked him not to do that. I think the beds will hold an adult, but I would be cautious about letting kids play on the top bunk.
Not all pieces fit nicely together during the build. The alignment was off slightly, which was frustrating. The color is darker than it appears online and less white washed. The bed is not as sturdy as I would like, and it does not appear to be constructed of real wood.
