Perfect for small devices

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This battery came partially charged and I was able to pop it in my cordless handsaw and get right to work with it. It has plenty of power for smaller cordless devices. I have one of these and another of the larger mah that I keep for my inspection camera. They are compact and charge quickly.

Great lightweight battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The battery was more than enough to to power the handsaw I was using, it’s not as bulky as my 20V batteries which is nice and still has excellent longevity to get the job done.

Small but has enough juice to get the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this battery with my 12v one handed reciprocating saw. I was amazed by the combination of the tool and battery. The juice didn’t slow down even after long continuously use to cut hard maple and pallet wood. It did get a little warm after a while but not something to worry about. Charges quickly and holds the juice for a while.

Nice Compact Battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was at first skeptical about the 12 volt tool line. But then I got the 12 volt reciprocating saw and was very impressed. I did not notice any difference in power than my full size 20 volt tools. The Battery charges extremely fast and seemed to have a very similar battery life as my 20 volt 3Ah batteries. I just used it to cut apart an old picnic table we were getting rid of and the battery had no issues powering through cutting 2x4s, 2x6s, and nails. Battery did get a little warm after constant use, but that is expected no different than my 20 volt batteries. By the end of cutting, battery still showed 2/3 battery on the battery indicator. Very impressed with these 12 volt batteries as they are compact and light weight but still offer a great amount of power and battery usage time.

Gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its sufficient for most at home work, if you use this for work I would suggest buying a battery with more amps. I appreciate the fuel gage, definitely a plus on rechargable batteries.

Lightweight and Packs and Punch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This battery by feel seems to be about half the size and weight of the 20v batteries I use on a regular basis. Its small form factor definitely is a plus by itself and seems to hold a charge and power tools as advertised. the 12v battery does the job and really helps keep the compact tool line just what is says...compact.

Good life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just ventured into the 12V lineup and found that the battery life was better than I expected when using the 12V Reciprocating saw. Was able to make several dozen cuts to break down an aluminum gate and only ate 1/3 of the battery life.
It's also extremely convenient that my 20V charger also charges 12V batteries to cut back on clutter and chargers.
Overall, a good battery and if you already have 20V batteries, the barrier to entry for 12V is minimal.
