[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a little 12 volt battery this thing is a beast. Fast charge and long life makes this a must for your small one handed DeWALT tools. Love it has a battery gauge on it so there is no guessing on your battery charge anymore.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little confused at first on how to charge the battery, It was so small I thought no way that will fit on my 20v charger. It snapped right in and took about an hour to fully charge fresh out of the package. I was very impressed with how long such a small battery lasted. I also loved being able to push a button and see how much juice was left on the battery. It has lasted multiple small projects without being recharged. Very impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this battery with my one-handed reciprocating saw. It is my first product in the 12V line. I love the compact and lightweight size of this battery. A big plus is that I did not have to buy a separate charger for this since my 20V chargers also charge 12V batteries. I must say that I am very impressed with the 12V and plan to expand my collection with more 12V tools. Pictured below is the battery life remaining after cutting about 8 feet of countertop and demoing several cabinets on one charge. The battery life indicator is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This battery works well. Charges quick, holds a charge, and has a battery life indicator. What more could you want from a battery?

Surprising Longevity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this battery with the one-handed reciprocating saw, took it out of the package with 1 bar on the meter and ran it for nearly an hour cutting wood and a couple of pieces of metal. The last time I had purchased a cordless power tool was a while back and the tenacity of this little battery surprised me.
The other surprise was the power it delivered to the tool. I use mostly 18V and 20V tools and this performed as good, if not better, overall, than those batteries. Charging times are minimal with the fast charger.
My only complaint about this battery, and it may be because it's new... it doesn't "unlatch" well, from the tool. It, sometimes, takes a few tries to get it to release. I would expect a bit smoother release but, if that's the only problem, so be it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 12v 3ah is a little beast. I test drove it in a new XTREME brushless Reciprocating saw and it preform better than expected. Typically 12v tools have their place in the trades but this platform could easily change to your go to daily drivers due to the longer life and shear weight difference. Got to love the fuel gauge on this battery as well. Always appreciate knowing the state of charge. The physical size is great to be able to throw a coupe in your pouch and go about your business.
