Great sounding speaker

This is a great speaker to purchase and use the magnetic base to stick to anything metal and take your speaker with you while working in the yard or elsewhere. Pairs easily with another Ranger for surround sound in our garage.

Perfect speaker for our poolside needs

Our family spends a lot of time in or by the pool in the summer. The portable Bluetooth speakers we have tried over the years were never loud enough to be heard over the pool equipment and the passing cars behind our neighborhood. The Turtlebox Ranger is loud enough to be heard and I have not even played it at full volume. Additionally, we often carry so much stuff poolside, our last speaker often got dropped. The handle on the Ranger makes that much less likely, but if it is dropped I know it can handle it. Finally, our old speakers would not last more than a few hours at full volume. We have used the Turtlebox Ranger for several hours at a time and have yet to get the battery below halfway (the battery level indicator is also helpful). I have not tested the waterproofing, and don’t plan to submerge it, but it will come in handy with summertime pop up showers.
I have been very pleased with the Ranger so far, I will be buying another soon so I can place one on each side of the pool and utilize the stereo pairing function!
