I don't notice much of a difference between this and my JBL Charge 4, however, the convenience of the magnet is worth it.

Very loud for such a small product. Love the magnets and build quality. The sound however, leaves something to be desired. Does not have the full sound of some of my other small bluetooth Bose and JBL speakers

I struggled deciding on getting (2) Rangers or one Gen 3 Original. More portable vs more bass was my biggest hang up. I took a shot on the Ranger. I'm glad I did. We took one on a quick weekend to Pheonix. The Ranger packs like a water bottle. Plenty loud on its own and more bass than I thought could come out of such a small footprint. Pairing it with another Ranger takes it to another level. Outstanding clarity even at close to max volume. Highly recommend!

Bought the ranger for my old jeep and it works good. Its magnet base allows the ranger to attach to the metal dash and then be taken to the camp site. Versatile product.
