I used it for two full days until I sold to my buddy. Took a big loss and bought another jbl after. The sound quality is okay is you like half volume, anything above will distort.

I would rate my second Ranger 5star but my first Ranger still doesn’t work and I can’t get anyone to send me information to get it repaired or replaced. So I have a 5 and a 1…if I could get warranty, then I might have 2 5’a 🤣

It is a Christmas present for my son so I haven't used it. I did get his initials on it, and was pleasantly surprised that they were larger and more noticeable than I expected.

I own two Rangers and a Classic Turtlebox, love them all! Recently, one Ranger was having an issue with sound quality due to a faulty speaker, and I returned it to Turtlebox for warranty work or a replacement. The process was simple and I now have a replacement!_x000D_
The one thing I have never understood about the Ranger is the placement of the magnets. Why would you place magnets on the same side that has speaker output? When you mount the unit to a metallic flat surface, the speaker output is automatically blocked. Am I thinking about this wrong?

Sound quality is good. I use it for welding just stick it to the metal.
