I had a Hydroflask for years and finally went Stanley. Don't' love that the cap comes completely off but that's not a deal breaker for me. I won't lose it. There is a holder in the handle for the cap, which I just figured out! I use for commuting so this fits perfectly in my backpack, also barely fits in my car cupholder but it does fit. Already received compliments at the gym. Love this and will be purchasing more for the family.
It was a gift for a friend's daughter. She absolutely loves it. The handle, the capability of drinking through spout or unscrewing it. She loved the color too. 😍
I was debating between giving this one or two stars and went with two given I do the love the quality of stanley products. I own several and use them all frequently. That being said - the design of this one is meant not for someone on the go. The top, while it attaches to the handle, is not always attached. As someone who hikes, takes public transportation to work, etc, not having the lid attached to the bottle itself is useless. I knew I would immediately lose this lid, it would eventually end up falling on the ground, getting dirty, etc -- so I returned it for a different product. If Stanley came out with a lid attached to the handle, I would buy that up immediately!
I loved this water bottle at first but I have found after using it for awhile if it tips over and is left laying on its side or flipped upside down water pools in the top. Then when you open the cap to drink all that pooled water spills everywhere! It’s still better than the straw Stanley leaking and I just have to remember to keep it upright.. or if I know it’s been tipped I open it outside away from my clothing :)
