(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I couldn't be happier with our purchase of the Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 7 Intel (14″). It is the perfect size, and manages all of needs well.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Unfortunately, while the computer is great, the battery does not charge beyond 79%, a strange number if you asked me. It is a brand new laptop and shortly after purchase it started acting up on the charge. At first we thought we may have failed to charge it, but then found there is a battery issue. Hopefully this is not a broad issue across the devices.

Hello,
Thank you for sharing your feedback on the ThinkPad E14 Gen 7. We're glad to hear that you're otherwise enjoying the computer, but we're sorry to learn about the battery charging concern.
We understand how concerning it is when a new laptop stops charging at 79%, especially when the issue appears shortly after purchase. In some cases, battery charge thresholds can be controlled by battery conservation settings, but we recognize that unexpected charging behavior on a new device can be frustrating and raise questions about the battery's health.
We encourage you to contact Lenovo Technical Support so our team can review the battery settings, run diagnostics, and determine whether the behavior is related to a system configuration or a hardware issue. Your feedback regarding battery performance and reliability will also be shared with our product teams for review.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for choosing Lenovo.
