It’s hard to find blenders with a glass jar these days and this one has both glass and plastic. We had 2 blenders before: an old Oster that was great at puréing and mixing crepe batter and a newer Ninja that was good at making smoothies and watermelon slushies. Then Oster broke and I found that Ninja one is not great at anything except smoothies. Now enter this guy that can do anything while also not wobbling off the counter and looking pretty when not in use.
My only complaint that it can be very loud (in Smoothie mode you need to step away or wear protective gear) but then it’s a blender, so it’s expected. I love simple dial that you can turn easily instead of buttons that make it go only too fast or too slow. Other than noise, it’s been a pleasure to use so far, for anything from ice cream base to strawberry daiquiris.
I am very happy with this blender. I love everything about it. I love the substantive glass jar and the rubberized seal on the lid. The size is great, as is the power. Compared to other comparably priced products, this blender appears to be made of higher quality materials. I use the Smoothie and the Clean functions every morning. Everything is well blended, including the small wild blueberries.
The jar can not be taken apart to clean so gunk gets under the blades. I would not have bought it knowing that
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
