No low setting

I used this slow cooker for the first time today. I put it on low and put in a roast. Two hours later the liquid inside was bubbling and the roast was already at 190 degrees. Why does the low setting not actually cook on low?

Our stew was excellent. We loved the ease of use with a simple heating dial . No digital readouts to eventually wear out.

This slow cooker is easy to use and easy to clean. I have tried it several times and it has given me great cooking results. I cooked beef stew and it was delicious, see photo. I cannot stop using this product.

Always had great experience in past. I use slow cooker all time, everyday for family of 9. Old one lasted 4 years. Great product.
