My 2nd Prime board, great value with features you expect from ASUS. The bios is 2nd to none for useability with plenty of manual and automated features. Easy installation and everything just works.

Overpriced with no post code displays or beeps

Overpriced, no post code display or beeps. Has 4 cheap leds at the very top of the board above the heatsink that are impossible to see which one is on, literally impossible in a case to tell which light is red preventing boot. Asus didnt rotate the board power connector 90 degrees making cable management ugly. Difficult to get to the cpu power and fan headers plugged in with the heat sink. ASUS Utility (ROOT\MEDIA\0000) driver stops my pc from sleeping, 'An audio stream is currently in use'. Took me hours to figure out how to track this down and disable it. Fans dont start on high, they start low until windows boots and fan curve gets loaded. I wouldnt buy this again, I would look to a different board. Asus blocked my review for "mentions the specific price ", so at this price I think there are better options out there. It does have blue tooth and wifi but I havent even tried either out and probably never will. It does have the asus quick disconnect thing for the pcie slot but Ill use that 3-4 times over the lifetime of the board. I would rather have a post code display. I havent tried any overclocking yet and probably wont for a while, usually dont overclock my stuff until its needed and right now my i5-13600k doesnt need the extra performance it smashes all I have thrown at it.

For what it is, this board does its job exceptionally well. I would have liked to have seen an optical audio plug, 90-degree front panel USB headers (it only has one and it's not angled), and all the silly logos are pointless and hard to build an aesthetic around. I ended up painting over and/or rubbing the logos off everything. The price point is great for 13th gen with ddr5 and the bios update was as easy as it comes.

Overall easy to configure MB with good features. Needed to download LAN drivers as it didn't work OOB. Still have a lingering issue with sound not coming out of the standard I/O plugs, but am using a workaround with USB headphones for the time being.

It's my first Prime. It does all I need and more. I Love the ecosystem the app package. The fans and the ARGB system is the best by far.
I'm not a gamer and don't OC but get the most up to date and the best out of the box stuff and this fit my needs.
