5500 ram isnt stable unless placed at 4800. If placed in overclock, I believe, it crashes still.

I have been building systems since the late seventies and using Asus products for probably 20 years and my experience trying to get a prime Z7 90 – a Wi-Fi working have been one of my worst nightmares ever in the hundreds of computer systems that I've built.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The issue may be either related to a driver conflict or a faulty onboard WIFI controller. We recommend doing a clean Windows installation to eliminate driver conflict. Update the BIOS if the motherboard is running with an older version. You can download the latest version at: https://www.asus.com/us/motherboards-components/motherboards/prime/prime-z790-a-wifi/helpdesk_bios?model2Name=PRIME-Z790-A-WIFI. If these were steps performed to no avail, the oboard WIFI device is faulty. We recommend you send the product in for service to determine if the WIFI device is faulty so this may be resolved immediately. A RMA number is required to send it in for service. isnt a good mobo, its has error. when the armory software update the bios, its stopped
recognizing my gpu, I spent 2 days looking videos on youtube, I had to downgrade the bios software.

What happened to the 5.1 speaker I/O ports?

Very good quality motherboard, except for one small thing for me. That one small thing is no 5.1 speaker audio ports on the rear I/O port area. My case doesn't have the front audio port that connects to the mainboard as the manual shows to set up 5.1 audio speakers. That is why I gave a 4 out of 5 stars.

I have always used Asus's products for my builds. These builds are for my personal use. Although I haven't started this new build, I'm sure it will work out. For me, components are pricey and so my builds take longer to complete.
