The instruction booklet was very easy to read. Basically, 4 steps to install. Now I have clean water to drink. No more buying bottled water for my family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Pur Classic water filtration system. It was easy to install and didn’t require any tools. It doesn’t attach to pull out faucets, but will connect to a standard faucet. It clicks on to the faucet and is ready to use! It has an on off switch that is easy to turn when you want clean water. You can turn it off when you don’t need it. So far, it’s saved my family a lot of money. We don’t need to purchase bottled water any more. I don’t have to worry about my family’s drinking water. We seem to have a boil water advisory in our town all the time! Pur reduces chlorine, removes 96% mercury, pesticides, and removes 99% of the lead. It is the best filtration system that leaves the water crisp and clean tasting! I highly recommend the Pur water filter to anyone who is looking for an easy water filter that works great!

Say goodbye to chlorine

Prior to installing I had been buying bottled water to drink because I really did not like the taste of the chlorine. The PUR water filter has made it so that I don't have to buy bottled water anymore. Great for the environment and good for my wallet. A win win !!!!

Now, there is such a difference having filtered water, it is so much better and makes me feel better drinking it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been buying bottled water and my youngest daughter has really been getting on everyone in the house about being more environmentally conscious. She is excited we now can stop buying bottled water. This water filter system was very easy to install. NO modifications were needed for our very standard faucet. The filter is simple to put together. The water flow is decent for filling a glass of water. Everyone can actually taste a difference and I'm excited to not be wasting money or throwing away large amounts of plastic.

No change in water quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this faucet filter bulky and cumbersome. Even on a high arch faucet it took up too much room above my sink.
I was disappointed that there was no difference in taste of the filtered water or in the detectable particles left in the water. There were 875 parts per million undissolved solids after filtration which was only about 10 less than the unfiltered. I even disassembled and reassembled twice and ran the water for a full 10 minutes with no remarkable change.
