It is an excellent dryer.

This is my first gas dryer and it works super! The large capacity is perfect for comforters and a large load. It gets everything evenly dry and cools off perfectly.

We have had Maytag products for over thirty years. Growing up in the 50'-60's my parents also were loyal Maytag owners. My father always said that Maytag may not be fancy but "fancy is fleeting." "Maytag washers and dryers will still be working hard when the "fancy" have been relegated to the dump." Well after thirty years we finally had to replace our ancient gas dryer. I am happy to say that Maytag has now blended "fancy" with durable!

We purchased the dryer some time ago. The machine has been performing as advertised. The dryer is fairly easy to operate and clothes dry in half the time as my old machine. So far I am satisfied with the Quality.

Excellent and energy efficent

Great dryer; very energy efficient. Lots of additional dryer settings if you need them; however I generally just use the energy efficiency setting. It does not get too hot like many gas dryers. The only drawback is the energy-efficiency setting sometimes does not get the clothes quite dry enough.
