Call it the "Note 22"

I just upgraded from the Note 9 to the S22 Ultra. And it is a very natural transition. The S22 Ultra really should be called the "Note 22"! It has an even nicer S-pen built-in to the body just like the Note 9. It is super fast with no lag, and it has more memory so I can have open 100 Chrome tabs like I often do with out the phone slowing down. I also like how Android Auto and the Google Assistant are built into the OS now and work out of the box. It really is an awesome phone and I highly recommend it for those who loved the Note series of phones! -Dan

I really miss the ear jack feature, since my Galaxy Pro Buds are always falling out, thus hanging up on calls, I have to use the speaker phone on important calls. The latest update also removed the microphone from the keyboard for talk-to-text use.

Once I noticed it didn't have an SD card slot, disappointment set in. Then I started looking at it and comparing it to my Note 20. Black paint at the top and bottom, I went for the Unlocked Red phone, I dislike Black Pens. The Red looks like cheap faded plastic. Finally the Silicone muted green case arrived. I also purchased the clear. Won't be using the clear case. The muted green case is better than looking at the muted Red and the blah black metal trim details at the top around the cameras. What a huge disappointment. The S-Pen seems improved, the performance is better. But no SD card, do I return or keep it. Glad I went for a larger memory size. I'll just need to make sure to download my images to my pc when ever I take a trip. Can't slide the card out, to do that. Don't use cloud services, don't want the challenge of getting hacked. I also don't want to deal with getting emails to Pay for Upgraded storage, when I can buy storage and have back up storage. Years of Notes, and now this. If you have the Note 20, and you thought it had a SD slot and you didn't increase your memory, you should probably return and either can one with a larger storage or wait till the next version. I didn't want to go through anymore hassles with returning process.
I have had my S22 ultra for 3 weeks and so far I want my note 9 back. The finger print scan does NOT work 80% of the time. I have reset it numerous times with no gain in usability. Other software changes are redundant or aggravating forcing me to redo/retype my objective.
I have had the 22 Ultra for a few weeks now, it's way fater than my previous Note 10+ and the camera in it is absolutely amazing. I'm an amateur photographer who likes knowing I can use my phone when I dont have my camera with me to capture an amazing photograph. The trade of my Note 10+ made this purchase next to nothing and I couldn't turn down the offer from Samsung.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my Galaxy for a few weeks now and remembered why I love my Samsung. The camera is phenomenal and can take excellent pictures. The best display anyone could ask for. My battery life is a dream! I take my phone everywhere I go! Thank you Samsung for making such an amazing device!
