The name couldn't be less accurate. Coffee and tea do not stay hot for even a few minutes. The lid has an opening that you sip through that doesnt close so drinks don't hold their temperature. I can't travel with it because it doesn't fit in a cupholder. It looks nice but it's useless to keep a beverage hot.

This mug does all that it is supposed to do. It is well built, and will likely last longer than I do. It keeps my coffee hot for longer than I need it to. Its lid, a simple plastic insert that press-fits into the mouth of the mug, while low tech, does its job. It is comfortable in the hand.
The 24oz. mug is the perfect size for my morning coffee. I fill it with two Keurig pods. It takes me a while to finish drinking the coffee at my desk, while reading my morning email, and the coffee is still plenty hot when I'm done.
If there is one downside for me, it's that this mug is just a little too tall to fit under my Keurig coffee maker. I have to take the drain grating off the machine to get it to fit. If it were just a bit (.5in) shorter, and a bit wider, it would be perfect.
It still gets five stars.
