I love this a lot

This is a great bin. It does not leak which is my main concern in a large bin. The interior is easy to clean. The exterior is also easy to clean and have a nice mate color. Easy to replace trash plastic. Easy to assemble and use. With one step it opens. And easy to placement of trash bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Likes:
• The trash can is lightweight and easy to move around.
• Trash bags fit perfectly and stay securely in place without slipping.

Dislikes:
• The lid doesn’t close automatically—you have to manually push it down after opening, which is unusual for a soft-close design.
• The lid tends to get smudged and covered in fingerprints.

Great for homes with curious pups!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this trash can! I have three dogs, who have figured out how to lift the lid of my old trash can. This one doesn't have a lid that sits on top, it's flush with the top, and it has a lock for night time/when I leave during the day for work. It's large enough for my 13 gal trash bags. It's a pretty shape and color. It doesn't easily tip either. I threw out my old can without a care in the world after using this can for a day. I love it.

got the wrong product 😕

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got the wrong one, got the step-on instead but it's still a nice trash can. Big enough to fit a lot of recycling even, and also pretty compact for a small space. Overall good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Rubbermaid trash can is definitely a upgrade from my old one. This one has a quite close lid and holds just enough trash. I like the look of it too.

Long Lasting Durable Trash Can
on April 20, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rubbermaid trash cans are truly the superior trash cans. I’ve had a few models in my past, from step on trash cans to the automatic ones and all have held up for 10+ years. We actually took an older model of this one out of our laundry room and replaced it with this one and moved the old one to our patio because it’s still perfectly good.
This one is also built to last. It is a great size and the step on can helps prevent unwanted pests (like my dog) from getting into it.
I would recommend buying Rubbermaid trash cans.
