The thermos works well, but the lid mechanism is terrible and it is nearly impossible to clean the silicone seal
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The best coffee cup around. Keeps my coffee hot all day long. I tend to lose my coffee throughout the day (stay at home mom with two littles that keep me on my toes) so I'm constantly putting my cup down and then finding it later. And guess what; it's still hot/warm at the end of the day.
I would recommend this to a friend!
