great to be able to buy spare plates for the capture device. Means I can swap from binoculars to camera with no fuss.

I recently used this on a backpacking trip for about 40 miles. I barely noticed my camera was there and it was super convenient for quick pictures.

Good idea, but great care must be taken when placing the camera on the tripod using the plate to ensure that the cord from the connector does not get caught in the clamp. I'm sure there could have been a better design so that this would not happen.

Ordered this plate because I misplaced my original one. It works well with my Capture Clip and keeps my camera handy but safe. Hopefully I will now find my missing plate because that’s the way it always works out. :-)

I keep these on all my cameras for quick access to a tripod and to attach the straps. I wish they were still included with the Peak Design straps.
