A lifetime suitcase

I bought this on the kickstarter launch and have taken over 25 trips since.
This is hands down the best suitcase I’ve ever used and will probably use. The clamshell design is genius and there is plenty of storage. The laptop sleeve is super convincing and there are plenty of zipped pockets to tick away stuff.
I’ve managed a week long trip with the bag and fit an extra pair of shoes in them. The bag has seen the streets of Tokyo, NYC, and SF and has done really well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I can't comment on longevity yet, but the compartments and packing cubes are awesome, and much roomier than old bag. Also love the carbon fiber.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Peak Design Roller Pro is an exceptional, feature-packed carry-on. The "SlimDrive" carbon-fiber handle system maximizes interior volume. Its smooth replaceable wheels and unique weatherproof outer shell offer incredible durability. I love the drawbridge type opening, which has a secure front laptop pocket. I don't plan on using to carry any camera gear, but I appreciate the ability to integrate their camera cube system. Its high price and heavy weight (compared to others in the same category) keep me from giving it 5 stars. Overall, it's one of the best spinner type carry-on luggages I have ever used.

Interior fabric is high quality and the compression straps work well. a fidlock wood be better for compression straps. Exterior Fabric/Shell is durable and well made. Zippers are top notch. Wheels are slightly larger than others in the class and they roll really smoothly. I do have one small gripe though. They need to increase the dimensions to max size carryon. Trying to fit a weeks worth of clothes and toiletries bag is a tight fit. The carbon fiber extendable handle is a game changer. Overall very well made and fit and finish is solid. Design change suggestion - add a wheel brake button to prevent the pro roller from rolling away in the airport gate area.
