Bought the Everyday Case in Charcoal for my iPhone 18 Pro and it does everything I want from a case. Slim, fits perfectly, buttons feel great, and the SlimLink magnet locks onto my Peak Design mounts with zero wobble. MagSafe charging works right through the case. Liked it enough to order the black leather version a week later. Easy recommendation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just updated to the iPhone 18 Pro Max from iPhone 15 Pro Max. I have many PD products, and had tried the Everyday case three years ago with the 15, but the Clarino vegan case was not right for me at the time (Apple had just stopped making leather cases). In looking for a new case, I saw PD had a leather case for the 18. And it’s a great one!
It’s lightweight and a great fit. PD tells you about that stuff. They don’t emphasize how great the button feel is - no mush, it’s crisp and perfect. Even the weird camera button that I didn’t have before works great (you slide on this one, and the case button is as smooth as when the case is off). Also notable for anybody switching brands - PD has excellent MagSafe implementation with a stronger vertical orientation than most other cases.
Glad to “come home” with this case. The only thing missing is that I’m usually not a signature iPhone case color guy, but I was this time, and love the Burgundy finish. It would “sure be nice” if the case matched.
Get it! Another PD winner!

Slippery case is a hazard

The amber leather case looks great and works well with the Peak Design mobile wallet stand. I especially like that the bumper/sides are colored as well to tell the phone apart even if face up.
However, the case is quite slippery on the sides which makes it hazardous when picking it up from a table. The force required to safely grip the phone when picking it up means, there's a good chance you'll turn the camera on or adjust the volume by mistake unless you pick it up in just the right way. The case back is also slippery but that might improve with age. It is not as bad when paired with the fabric mobile wallet which makes the back grippy.
The charge port cutout is slightly too small for some USB-C charging cables requiring jamming it in to fit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nearly perfect!

Premium materials. Stylish design. Perfect fit. Clicky buttons. Side rails are smooth and nice for swiping but actually not very grippy. With a pro max, I’ve nearly not been able to pick up my phone properly from it being face down as there is very little grip. I may have to source another case despite this one being so nice, as I am worried I am going to mishandle it when picking it up in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Soft and sleek

This thing feels great. It's a tad thick, but it's miles ahead of the competition for leather cases. I've owned Andar and the rest of the major leather iPhone cases in the past, and this one is just so nice to hold. I don't mind the rubber sides because they feel soft buy grippy, and they blend into the leather look and feel really well. Genuinely a pleasure to hold my phone in this case. Also, the magsafe magnets are super strong. I've never felt compelled to write a review for a phone case before, but I went out of my way for this one. I've had it about a week, so I'm hoping the long term durability holds up. But for a first attempt at a leather case, Peak Design did well.

Fantastic fit and finish!

Just bought this case for my 18 Pro Max, which I picked up on launch day. The fit and finish is the best I’ve ever seen, especially at this price point. All of the buttons have a positive click to them and the MagSafe is ridiculously strong.
The fabric back is nice and grippy and makes the phone easy to securely hold, and the camera plateau has a nice ridge along it to protect the cameras.
Alongside this case I’ve installed a spigen screen protector, and the fitment within this case is near flawless. The case edge is almost flush with the glass protector, making it feel like there is no case at all on the screen side of the phone. I highly recommend this combo as someone who hates cases that have a huge ridge around the edge of my phones.
For the price, I really don’t think this case can be beat. It matches the quality of all of my other peak design products and I’m sure the warranty will hold up if I ever need it. Thank you PD for making a great product in a space filled with lots of mediocre ones!
