Excellent application characteristics

This is the preferred ethylene propylene insulating tape for cable splicing and termination work from millivolts through 69 KV. It's "linerless" characteristic is ingenious, and easily accommodated without compromise to the finished work. No strongly competing products exist (that I have encountered or have been able to find).
It may not be evident to new or rare/irregular users that it must be covered with a sealant layer to exclude air, moisture, foreign substances, UV light, etc. tapes or brushed coatings work well. (33+ or 88 work best below 1kv).

I like this tape because of its quality & the convenience of not messing with a liner during install. Makes clean up faster too

3m take the cake

The boss wants us to by offbrand to save costs, but I have yet to find a tape brand that can come close to the quality of 3m. I have continued to buy 3m even for simple phasing tape despite what he asks for.
