All metal is better
on March 27, 2026
Posted by: Frank O.
I received a complete set for Christmas 2025 and it had metal sleeves. The wires, of course, broke because all of the bending while in my pockets. I ordered just the jacks mostly for the new wires. The sleeves are plastic and one of them came off on day 2. I have my keys in my back pocket and it came apart after sitting down. When I got home, I replaced the plastic sleeves with the original metal ones I had previously and voila, instant coolness again.
