I never thought to look at the length of the broomstick. I assumed it would be standard and similar to every other broom that I’ve used. However the broomstick is very short and although I am 5’2” I still need to bend down to sweep. This would be perfect for a child.

I bought this to use on my front porch had I checked the length first I wouldn't have bought it. I am 5'3" and I still have to bend over to use it. It is great for getting into smaller spaces and the bristles are great as well. It does clean nicely it's just way too short to use comfortably. It should be 4' instead of 3' to be comfortable to use. It would work nice for a child.
