I loved the (16935) protectors I purchased another. I did not read the description the first one I received. The protectors are grouped together. This is great because there is a very stable thick part that slides onto the 3 rings. I have the original type of protectors and the area around the metal rings are almost breaking. The thickness of the plastic is great. Don't quote me but I think they are very slightly thicker.
