They’re aren’t lying but it’s pretty misleading. You get the projector inserts - they’re great but too dim even at 3 meters with no ambient light. The “background” ripple thing can’t be changed to anything except too-bright ripple thing that just blots out the projector inserts. Even at the dimmest setting the ripple / wave / aurora is still waaaay brighter than the inserts.
Also - I’ll take the blame but learn from my mistake - you cant change the ripple pattern. Colors and speed can change but you’re stuck with a single pattern which is boring and clashes with the inserts.
Still trying to just disable the ripple lights completely but this is likely going straight in the trash can. Oh well.
