Fell apart in weeks
on August 6, 2022
Posted by: Jim Enterkin
This is the second time I purchased this cover. First one (purchased 2029) lasted about 3 years before it started falling apart. Bought a replacement in May 2022 which lasted less than 10 weeks before it started disentangling. Would not but again until quality was improved.

Solar Cover

I've purchased solar covers in the past that lasted a full summer season or two before having to be replaced. I usually buy non-named brand. But this year I thought I would give Entex a try since I love their pools and haven't had any trouble with any of their other pool products. This solar cover is the worst I have ever purchased. It didn't last more than two months before it started to deteriorate. It is tearing and breaking apart. I am constantly skimming out blue dots from the pool water. I can't use it anymore and the summer hasn't even come to a close. Never purchase this again, nor do I recommend.

Great cover. Living in the UP of Michigan the summer is short. The cover warms up the temperature of the pool considerably.

Had it 4 months and it's disintegrating. It definitely works but don't expect to get a whole season out of it.
