[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I am very satisfied with my new ThinkPad laptop. My previous laptop was a different brand and more than 5 years old, so performance gain is impressive. One small thing I appreciate is built-in curtain to block laptop's camera. Couple of notes: (a) cooler might be a bit loud when CPU is busy; (2) No more custom connector for power source, it's USB-C now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This computer is powerful, slim, and although not the 4k, the display at the top model is still really sharp. Like every Thinkpad, it has great typing experience to boot. 86W battery when put into energy saving, I easily get 10+ hours with light use.
The fan can get noisy when you put it in performance mode, and push the laptop, but overall it says pretty quiet. Quality built, this is my first Thinkpad. And overall I'm VERY impressed.

Max power usage in sustained load is around 45 watts in balanced mode. Runs kubuntu well, including the fingerprint sensor.

There's a new copilot button on the keyboard, the response generation speed is slightly slower than gpt4 but would be interested to see future feature updates
