(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've always purchased consumer grade laptops for personal use, and they never last more than a couple of years, even with limited use. A friend of mine recommended I buy a Thinkpad instead. This laptop is amazing! It cost more, and doesn't look particularly sleek, but it's very powerful, very sturdy, and I'm certain I'll have it for quite a while.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is a beast! It's super compact and still delivers great performance. I can run 3d scanning software for hours without any slowdown. It also fits very nicely in my backpack and any small spaces while scanning.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I recently bought six ThinkPad P1 Gen 7 for my development team, and we’re all very satisfied! These laptops are incredibly powerful, fast, and lightweight, making them perfect for coding, multitasking, and handling demanding applications.

Almost perfect laptop for a software developer

Almost perfect laptop for a software developer—it is light, has enough power to run an IDE, and has a good screen. The only annoying issue I have is the left/right arrow buttons on the keyboard. They are tiny and too close to the Page Up/Page Down keys, which drives me crazy because I always accidentally click them instead of left/right.
I came from a Dell XPS and was used to its keyboard, so maybe it will take some time to adjust, but it's already been over a month, and I still keep pressing the wrong buttons.
Other than that, I love this Lenovo laptop. If there are no issues down the road, I think it's a better machine compared to Dell laptops, and I intend to switch my company's infrastructure to Lenovo over time.

BUILT LIKE A MACBOOK FASTER THAN A DELL XPS

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My first Lenovo workstation. I have been a loyal Dell user for years but in light of political situations in the US wanted to buy from a non American company. I have been SO impressed with the performance of this workstation - reliable and fast - and extremely well equipped especially the graphics and RAM - 64 GB. The construction quality is the BEST I have seen in a PC laptop and is at least as good as My MacBook Pro. I find myself picking it up just to experience the quality feel of the unit. It's everything I could want in a mobile workstation - I use is for GIS and mapping work in ArcPro, QGIS and Maptitude. I renders quickly and seamlessly. When I replace my second Dell XPS next year I will buy anothet Lenovo P series. I LOVE this computer!
