Great laptop, very good compromise between weight and power with a surprisingly long battery life. The gorgeous touch panel and the various connection options are just icing on the cake. It is pricy, but worth the money if you need a light but serious working machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the ThinkPad P1 Gen 7 Intel (16") Mobile Workstation for both business and personal use, and it truly exceeds expectations in every way. The performance is outstanding, with its powerful Intel processor handling even the most demanding tasks effortlessly. Whether I'm running multiple business applications or editing large media files, this laptop keeps up without missing a beat.
The 16" display is crystal clear, offering vibrant colors and sharp detail, which enhances everything from work presentations to personal entertainment. The build quality is exactly what you'd expect from a ThinkPad—solid, sleek, and professional. I appreciate the lightweight design, considering the power under the hood, making it easy to carry around without sacrificing performance.
Battery life is impressive, and the keyboard is a dream to type on, providing a comfortable and responsive experience. Security features like the fingerprint reader and robust software solutions give me peace of mind, especially when dealing with sensitive business data.
Overall, the ThinkPad P1 Gen 7 is the perfect combination of power, portability, and functionality. It meets all my needs, whether I'm working on complex projects or relaxing with a movie. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier workstation!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a Lenovo P1 workstation laptop. This is my second P1 in a row, and I absolutely love this computer. It is a powerhouse, especially given the size and weight of the unit. The graphics are spectacular, the boot-up is fast, and the form factor is outstanding. I frequently use this computer for 3D CAD modeling, and it handles even heavy files with no problem. I definitely recommend this computer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been really happy with this laptop. It's the first Lenovo I've purchased for myself, but I use Lenovo hardware for work so I have some familiarity with them already. I got this laptop to use for personal programming and development projects, and to be able to play some games on the go.
The display quality is exceptional. I'm really happy with the color and resolution. The size of the display itself is good -- large enough to give a good amount of room to work with, while not making the laptop ludicrously large and unable to fit in most backpacks or cases.
On the topic of size, I'm definitely pleased with the dimensions of this laptop, particularly the thickness. It's reasonably thin and lightweight, while still providing some solid specs. Its design seems to be such that cooling and ventilation are not issues. When I'm working on something fairly resource-intensive, the laptop's fans will kick on, but it doesn't sound so loud like a Harrier is taking off in my living room.
I like the keyboard. It's not my absolute favorite, but the tactile feedback and responsiveness of the keys are good. The trackpad is good. I still think MacBooks have the best trackpads, but the one on my ThinkPad is pretty well responsive and isn't finicky.
The battery has been great. I feel like I get a good amount of runtime out of the battery before I have to worry about charging.
I've traditionally been a MacBook Pro user for a very long time, and while I still have one, this ThinkPad has become my primary laptop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fans are very loud, the touch ID doesn’t work very well, and the battery life is like 5 hours. The screen and keyboard are nice but the touchpad is a little finicky. The base will creak if you put weight on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the ThinkPad P1 Gen 7 for a while now, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This powerhouse of a machine is equipped with a Core i9 Ultra processor and a whopping 64GB of RAM, making it perfect for handling intensive tasks with ease. Whether I’m multitasking or running demanding applications, this workstation never misses a beat.
The 16-inch 4K OLED touch screen is simply stunning. The colors are vibrant, and the clarity is unmatched, making it a joy to work on, especially for graphic design and video editing. The touch functionality adds an extra layer of convenience, allowing for intuitive interactions.
One of my favorite features is the haptic trackpad. It provides a tactile feedback that makes navigation feel incredibly smooth and precise. It’s a small detail, but it significantly enhances the overall user experience.
Overall, the ThinkPad P1 Gen 7 is a fantastic investment. It’s powerful, reliable, and packed with features that cater to both professional and personal use. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a high-performance mobile workstation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the ThinkPad P1 Gen 7 Intel mobile workstation and can confidently say that this is the best laptop I have had for 20+ years. This machine is just awesome. Super fast and powerful - with 2 chromes with 20 tabs each, several software running in parallel and numerous apps open, the laptop doesnt even break a sweat.
The whole research to buy journey on Lenovo website was a breeze. Lots of helpful info and guides, and easy to research and compare products. Very good discounts going on regularly as well.
I could not recommend Lenovo and this laptop highly enough!
