[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 7, and it has exceeded my expectations. As a professional who requires both portability and power, this laptop strikes the perfect balance.
The performance is exceptional, with the Intel processor and NVIDIA graphics handling demanding tasks like 3D rendering and multitasking with ease. The 4K display is stunning, offering crisp visuals and excellent color accuracy, which is perfect for creative work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely impressive, light weight and fast. Throttles on its own so you won't notice advantage to higher clock speed until you put it under stress. But it goes! Not fond of new operating system, but that is just a learning curve thing. Nicely ventilated. You can tell when fan kicks in, but noise isn't an issue. Screen resolution is nothing short of beautiful. Touch screen for white-boarding takes a bit of getting used to but works very well. Just takes practice to get really fluent with it especially while presenting.

We called Lenovo specifically for a recommendation as to which device would suit our needs best. We purchased the one that was recommended to us and it performs FAR worse than our 4 year old laptop. Videos freeze, constant random (every few minutes) black screen interruptions and more. Either we got a lemon or this device is not suited to our needs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
