[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the amount I paid which was $3K USD and given the laptop is using the latest technology for early 2025, I expected a fast computer but it works slowly and clunky, even just using CTRL+ALT+DEL takes like 3 seconds and switching windows or browser also take some seconds that look like the computer is going to get stuck at some point. I don't really understand why it is so slow. Very disappointed with my purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacing a 10 year old Z51 it was originally a Windows 7 laptop, but updated to Windows 10. Not upgradable to Windows 11 so it was time to make a change. The ThinkPad P1 is a great replacement. It is screaming fast and is able to handle gig speeds of my Fiber optic network. Making the leap to Win11 wasn't as easy as Win 7 to 10. I found a program called Zinstall, that did a great job. Made the change very easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love just about everything about the laptop, if I was to try and thing of anything negative it may be that I’m not huge fan of the mouse pad, I would probably prefer physical buttons but overall I can get used to it.
Aside from that, it’s a great laptop.
