Surprised how much difference these make!

Like the title says, I'm surprised how much of a difference these make. They maintain the perfect humidity, just from the moisture in the dough. No need to oil them or cover with plastic wrap, like I have in the past with my bowls. Even without oil or wrap, the doughs avoid developing any sort of a "skin" on them, which is good because that "skin" can make the dough tough to stretch and leave it with a weird, inconsistent texture. Plus, with the oil and plastic wrap approach, it can create an oily mess to pull back the wrap, remove on dough ball, cover the remaining ones back up, etc. This keeps the process cleaner and faster.
Plus, as an added bonus, it makes you look more like a serious pizza chef. :)

I know you can get

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know you can get these plastic boxes cheaper from any market, so that why 4/5 (a bit pricey...). Quality is really good and I can easily fit 8 dough balls / box. Stackable & fits easily to dishwasher although they are quite big. These function as nice extra additional worktops when cooking outdoors!

A great addition to your pizza habit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited quite a while before purchasing these, as I wasn't sure they were necessary. I find that I use them CONSTANTLY now in addition to the stacking glass prep dishes. It is nice to be able to make and proof bulk amounts of dough so that you can toss some in the freezer for the nights you don't feel like having as much effort. The boxes make this possible.
