Easy to Install & Works Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never owned or installed a ceiling fan this size before but my old fan just wasn't doing a good job circulating the air in my den. I did some research and discovered that the fan I was using was just too small for the room. I was using a 55" fan for a 15'x15' room when I should have been using between a 60"-72" fan.
Removing the old fan and replacing it with the Xerxes was a breeze (no pun intended!). I've installed a lot of ceiling fans in the past so I didn't really need the instructions but they were well laid out and I ended up referencing them a couple of times.
Once everything was installed, I turned it on and was very impressed with the air circulation. It's also quieter than my last fan which is great when watching tv or while having a conversation.
If you're going to install this fan where a smaller one was (like I did) just know that this one is a bit heavier so make sure your box can support it. I didn't have this issue but you also want to be sure there's enough clearance to support the longer blades.
It's been a couple of weeks since I installed the fan and it's running great. I've also gotten several compliments from visitors who have said how nice it looks. If you're in the market for a new ceiling fan then I highly recommend the Xerxes!

Great for Large Space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Honeywell Xerxes Fan is very large and perfect for larger spaces in your home. It does require a secondary support for install as it is reasonably heavy given it's size. The fan looks sleek and pushes the air around very well. The light is brighter than I anticipated. I appreciate that it has a remote so you don't have to be wired into a switch. I felt like the blades looked better flipped upside down with the blade holders facing down, so switched them. I also appreciate that the fan motor is quiet, you don't have to turn everything up or yell to be heard over it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About the best fan we have installed. My hubs did the actual install. It went a fair amount of time to install. You definitely have some stuff to do before hand. But the end results are awesome! It looks great and feels great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this in my kitchen. My kitchen is pretty big and I have always wanted a ceiling fan in it. Once I figured out what I was doing, it was pretty simple putting it up. Only issue I had was my own home wiring which had nothing to do with a the fan. For someone who never installed a fan, I believe the instructions were pretty simple. The fan it's self is a beautiful upgrade to my kitchen. I got alot of complaints.

Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this light. It is very modern and pretty. I love that it comes with a remote. I also love how it can cool and heat by using the reverse switch on the fan. I love the fan has three different speeds, High, Medium, and Low. It also has a Variable Breeze speed, but I don't use that one much as I don't like it as much as the other speeds. I love the light Delay off Mode. This is perfect for when getting ready for bed, because it will automatically turn off after one minute. I also love that it has the option to turn on randomly while you are away. This is great if you are worried about people knowing you are not home. The only thing I did not like about this fan, is the base was a little smaller then the one I had previously had, so I will need to repaint that area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan was pretty simple to install and the directions were easy to follow. I love it! It works so well and I love the remote feature. It’s so convenient to be able to control your fan with a remote. We put it in our 3 car garage. I definitely can feel a difference with the fan being in there. I love the style and I really like Honeywell brand.
