I was happy to find the alder pellets at Bear Mountain, as they are unavailable in my area.
The bag arrived split, with some pellets missing, but they smoked well and the flavor is what I expected.

You won’t find better pellets out there. I’ve tried em all. Bear mountain has been the only pellet I’ll run in my yoder, GMG, Traeger, and smoke tubes. Minimal dust, excellent smoke/flavor, clean burning, and the absolute best customer service you’ll encounter. Love these guys n gals!

A lot better than trager pellets. I have used trager, reqtec pellets for at least 5 years, i got a little smoke ring / color. But WOW these pellets generated that beautiful ebony color and at least 1/4 inch smoke ring on my pork butt and brisket. The smoke flavor was almost as intense as my stick burner. I am sold.
