These salt and pepper grinders seem very sturdy and well made and they are beautiful. 6 months ago I can hopefully write a truly great review!!! I have had horrendous luck with other manufacturers products but these do seem to very of high quality!

Hard to refill

The grinding part is fine but its not easy to refill. This website says to pull the top off. Easier said then done. Took a lot of strength to pull it off.

America's Test Kitchen highly recommended the pepper mill and I have to say that, indeed, this is a wonderful product! I now know that I had some terrible pepper mills--Cole and Mason have designed something that truly grinds the pepper to however fine I wish!

Very nicely made and easy to use. I was surprised it came filled with pepper corns which was an added bonus! A must have for the home chef.
