[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my crockpot, but it took me about a week to open it and do anything. As normal I read the instructions and made a plan to make beef stew. I got everything ready, put it in the crockpot and set the temp and timer. High for about 1 hour then turned it to low for about 7 hours, boy the stew was great. This crockpot is really nice, I love how you can set everything and go do anything that you want and not have to worry about it. I like how easy it is to clean and put away. This is built very well, the only thing I wish it had is a locking lid. Other than that I have nothing bad ton say about this. It looks good, easy to use, easy to clean.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the matte black exterior on this slow cooker. It looks so nice and modern. It's a perfect size for making large batches of apple cider, chili, or a smaller roast. The touch sensitive buttons look nice, but I do sometimes worry that a light bump might adjust the temp/time, but it honestly hasn't been an issue.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made bar chili the other day, even though this is a 6qt pot, it is a little smaller than my other 6qt slow cooker, which is really nice. It sat on my bar for 8 hours from the time i made it to self serving it and the bottom did not get hot. The buttons are just a touch, no need to press which is really nice and no knobs to break off. Its black sleek color is perfect for my bar and kitchen, simple yet sleek. Almost had a family member walk off with it because they also liked it so much.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with this slow cooker. It's great for large batches of soup, family get togethers and I know we'll be putting it to good use furing the holidays. It's easy to use, will switch to warm automatically when the set cooking time is reached and turn off automatically if needed. It's basically foolproof! It cleans easily, no liner needed. This is a great addition to my kitchen especially with cold weather and the holidays arriving soon.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very nice and easy to use crockpot. I always love Hamilton beach products. In the past I had issues with on knobs and lettering wearing off with different crockpots of different brands I like that this crockpot is knob free. The only thing I would change to this crockpot is that is hand lid locks.. I do take my crockpot to church quite a bit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using my cooker as soon as I got it and I am absolutely satisfied with my cooker...it is very durable and easy to clean...I have made soups, stews and baked in it...I use it more than I use my stove because I work long days so I use it more than I use my stove...I have recommended it to all of my family and friends...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great slow cooker. Very nice design, however the only thing I wished it had are the metal holders to kerp lid in place for transportation. Also, it would be nice to add digital timer, so it would show how much time is left. Overall, it is simple and very easy to use. Great for the price and as a first basic slow cooker.
Wasn't what I thought, but turned out to be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach 6 qt Programmable Slow Cooker was not quite what I had expected. What I ASSUMED that it would be, was a slow cooker that you could program to start cooking at a certain time. Maybe have an app that you could control it with. I was thinking how handy it would be to put it my items and program it to start cooking a few hours later, but no, it's not like that at all. What it does is allows you to program the length of time you cook for, either on LOW or HIGH and for 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours. Once that time is up, the cooker turns the cooking to the WARM setting, keeping your food warm for up to 24 hours (it will automatically shut off after 24 hours) or until you turn it off. I like this feature. Previously, I would only use my slow cooker when I knew that I had short days at work or the day off so my roast/ribs/stew wouldn't be cooking for 12 hours. This way I can program it to cook for however long I want it to, and when I come home, I'll have a warm dinner that's not overcooked waiting for me. Thanks for another great product, Hamilton Beach!
