Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Hamilton Beach 9-in-1 Searing Slow Cooker. This isn't your every day set it and forget it slow cooker. This appliance has 9 different features. I haven't used all of them just yet but I intend to. The slow cooker is nicely packed in the box. Instruction manual included. It was very simple to plug in. The cooker has a a glass lid to view what you're cooking inside. It has several features including slow cook, roast and warm. The options are plentiful. It is well constructed. It didn't get intensely hot on the outside surface of the unit. But I also didn't use all the features. I started off with a nice, thick round roast. It was tricky at first to figure out the buttons but after reading the manual, it was simple. It shows the countdown time you desire of the cooking time. I chose 4 hours. It also counted how long it was in the pan on warm. I love how easy it is to use. As well as cleaning. I used warm water and some dish soap and it wiped clean pretty easily. I can't say enough about this. I did use the roast function the other day and it heats up quite fast to a boiling and then I switched it over to slow cook. Well constructed. Easy to use. Nothing I can say negative. The manual is a plus when figuring out the other cooking options. This will be used a lot! It is a great addition to my kitchen. Especially when I'm hard pressed for time after working a long day. I know I will have dinner ready when I get home.

Great versatile slow cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the the Hamilton Beach 9 in 1 searing slow cooker and this thing is top notch. I really love how you can use this for so many things, like browning, roast, steam, high and low slow cook, and saute, this product is amazing and made very well. This is a high quality product made to last a very long time. You can even fit a 6lb chicken in this thing. Also i love the fact that it is very easy to carry, and clean. Also has a delay funcion for rice, whole grains and steam. Very impressed with this product and i definitely would recommend this product to all my family and friends.

Love the large size of this Slow Cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 9-in-1 Searing Slow Cooker is really nice! We use a crock pot or slow cooker very often and I'm so happy to have this larger size one! The first thing I cooked was a pot roast and potatoes and carrots and the amount of room to spread everything out is awesome! I can definitely cook more than I'm used to and that's great for making leftovers. There's a countdown led timer on the front, so my family can take a peak and figure out when dinner is going to be ready. I love that it sears the meat so no need to do that in a separate pot before hand. It's easy to wash and clean and it's very well made. I wish I would have had this years ago! My boyfriend loves using it too. It makes planning dinner fun and easy and everything turns out perfect! I even make homemade dog food in it and the dogs love hanging out in the kitchen because it smells so good!

Amazing multi cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 9-in-1 multi-cooker is a wonderful small appliance to have in your kitchen. I love that it's like a slow cooker with so many functions that a stove and oven would have. The cooker is lightweight but durable. You can take out the tray to clean it or place it on the table to serve from. There are 9 settings of cooking that you can use. The buttons are readable and easy to use. I do wish that when I select a cooking option, I could turn the temperature up and down as I can with the timing. The pot is 6 quarts and can hold a 6-pound chicken or smaller roast. I love that it has a roasting rack that I can place any type of meat on to roast with. My favorite feature is the high and low slow cook because I can put soup or stew in the machine and it cooks perfectly. The delay start is good when you're adding ingredients into your recipe. One thing I don't like is that if you don't close the lid correctly, the machine will stop the timing but it will continue to cook. It does beep, but sometimes I don't pay attention to that. It steams, roasts, sears, sautés, cooks rice, and slow cooks. It preheats for a while and keeps the food warm until you're ready to eat. It gets hot really quickly and cooks efficiently. It is easy to use and one of the small appliances that I have received so many great positive compliments about. It comes with a small plastic cup to add water or juices to your recipe. The inside of it has levels to add the water or broth to the machine. It’s a high quality small appliance that you can so many great uses out of. It’s a sleek. Overall, I am very happy to have this as it makes cooking easier.

Versatile and Easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was a little apprehensive on this slow cooker being able to do more than just slow cook, but it proved me wrong! I decided to but the saute function to test first. It browned the onions nicely and quickly and the resulting gravy was amazing! Afterwards, I pulled the insert out and was surprised at how quickly it cooled off before washing. It was also lightweight compared to slow cookers with a ceramic insert. I've also used this item for making a soup using the slow cooker function. Buttons are clearly marked for ease of use and this cools down fast for quick cleanup!

My new favorite appliance

I used it to cook chicken breasts with cream of chicken soup to serve over egg noodles, and it worked perfectly. Such a versatile and stylish slow cooker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how versatile and stylish this slow cooker is! I have often used recipes that I have to sear meat before I place ingredients in a slow cooker, meaning dirtying another pan. Not anymore with this Hamilton Beach slow cooker, I can do it right in the same pot and instantly switch to a slow cook setting! I really like the shape of this slow cooker, I can spread out my ingredients on the bottom and have more room. I was worried I wouldn't be able to use my standard slow cooker liners because of the shape, but I just have to cut small slits on the corners and the liner fits perfectly! I can't wait to try at all the other fun settings, this is definitely my favorite slow cooker ever!
