[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really impressed with this Hamilton Beach slow cooker… It’s really easy to use and I love the programmable settings that make it really convenient on busy days. It’s the perfect size to feed a family of four and the locking lid is a great feature for transporting the food! It cooks evenly, cleans up easily, and overall feels very well made. I would definitely recommend it to anybody looking for a slow cooker that’s reliable, user-friendly, and at a great price point!

It’s easy to clean and maintains a consistent temperature without radiating much heat. I made a delicious pot of red beans and rice that my family absolutely loved, and the entire process was so simple!

Functional, simple, attractive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very attractive and functional. First off, taking it out of the box I noticed that it's pretty and shiny. I love how the programmable "dial" is round. That's simple and attractive styling there. The lid has a lip that aids in sealing, and protecting the crock, when the lid is clamped down. I was concerned the latches might be hot or cumbersome to deal with but they are not. My first use I prepped my stew, set the "dial" and left to run errands. It switched to warm when time was up and was ready to enjoy when we arrived home; cooked as expected for time set. The size and oval shape is great, perfect for my family. I can even put a whole chicken and toss in vegetables. I love potlucks and they are becoming popular again. This is perfect for taking on the go, no worry about spills and the food losses less heat too. I never imagined a slow cooker could make me excited but this one does!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice slow cooker. Definitely too big for my household at 7 quarts but does a great job. It looks nice and isn't too heavy. The inside pot is removable. It's programmable with timers and 3 heat settings. I especially like that it automatically switches to the warm setting after cooking. Keeps food warm without burning. I made chicken in marinara sauce and beans. Both came out great. Think I will try stew next and then a roast. I also like that it has hinges to keep it in place for on the go. Oh, and easy clean up too. I recommend the Hamilton Beach Programmable Stay or Go Slow Cooker.

Great For Gatherings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Slow cookers come in so handy when you have a full day ahead of you. I’m quite happy with the Hamilton Beach Programmable Stay or Go Slow Cooker so far. It’s a decent size, (7 quarts) and being able to feed around 9 people is perfect for gatherings. It has 2 hour increment settings, 2-10 hours, for cooking times, which I love. It’s not super heavy, but may be challenging for some when lifting it into a sink for cleaning, although the cleaning itself is a breeze. The lid has a rubber seal to help keep your tasty creation from sneaking out when transporting it and has clamps on the handles that lock everything into place. It’s definitely a snug hold once the clamps have been placed on the lid and pushed down. This is great for being able to get your meal safely to another location. I would have given this product 5 stars, but I felt the metal surrounding the basin was a bit thin. Also, be very careful when handling this, especially near the metal rim. It gets extremely hot. Overall, this seems to be a nice slow cooker and should do a great job cooking basically any meal that can be prepared in a slow cooker. Just make sure to set the cook times accordingly.

Easy to use good size slow cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great size slow cooker. My first use of this was to make red beans with a ham bone. It is big enough to accommodate a large bone which is awesome. I love that there is very little to getting it set up and turned on. Just a couple of quick touches to get it going. The options for the times are great. It is so nice to have the switching to warm feature. Having the lid lock on the cooker is wonderful. It seals really well and truly makes moving it more secure. Clean up is also a breeze. This is a really nice and easy to use slow cooker.

Great capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a slow cooker in the mail, complimentary to give a a review.. The crackpot itself is great. Great cooking. I like the that it goes to warm after the timer that you set is up. My only issue is the hooks on the side of the handles that are supposed to keep the lid on during transport.. The hooks do not lineup with the clips. And you can only attach one hook to the lid. The second hook and clip, if you get it to a line, it appears that it might break the lid. That is my only complaint.. Other than that, the slow cooker was great. When I cooked chicken tacos

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy Hamilton Beach appliances for their ease of use, clean up, durability and cost compared to other brands in the same market. I have other Hamilton Beach slow cookers of various sizes that are used regularly and this new design is beautiful, also love how the base is raised off of the counter more than previous models so it doesn’t get as hot where it is sitting. The controls are very simple to set and know which setting you are on and at throughout the cooking time because of the white light. Clean up is a breeze as the lid and cooking crock are both able to go in the dishwasher but also clean up well after a little soaking and scrubbing, the heating element wipes down great too (once it has cooled down) and keeps it looking new. The cooking seemed very even, no hot spots and didn’t seem to run too hot or not hot enough. I’ve included a picture at the end of the new model (left) with an older version (right) to show some of the upgrades/differences.
