Amazing Device!

This Roku is such a huge leap from my experience with my previous streaming devices (Chromecast gen 1 and 2, internal LG app). I was just initially looking for a way to Airplay the comicbooks on my Kindle to my TV (for a larger screen experience since I only own a lowly 10.2 in iPad). The Roku just happened to be the most affordable device that has Airplay so I waited for a sale and finally purchased it.
Well, I nearly forgot about using it for Airplay because I got distracted playing with all of the Roku’s wonderful features. First of all, the wifi is so much more stable than any of my previous devices and because of that, picture quality is always great. The TV I use it on is only 1080p but I feel much better knowing that I’m future-proofed with the Roku since it can do 4K HDR. There’s tons of free content and browsing is a breeze with the voice remote. Just say what you want to watch and it gives you all the best options to watch it. My only nitpick is that I wish it came with the HDMI extender in the box but I realize that maybe it’s to save the environment (and on costs). Luckily, I have an HDMI splitter that I can plug it into so I didn’t need the extender. Overall, it’s a great device and I highly recommend it! Time to watch the original The Price is Right…

Hard getting it up running again

Setting it up was easy. Enjoyed watching on first day then I was unable to turn it on again. Still not working

Roku 4k stick

Finally it came on sale. I've been waiting for a while ! I bought this to replace my original Roku box ( 10 years old ) . It is much faster . The controller is annoying as it has a mute button on the side right where I want to hold it and I am frequently putting it on mute which I have to remove.

When the Roku works, it’s great, but it doesn’t work reliably. I bought it for Apple TV+, but it frequently will not play shows because it says the Internet connection needs to be checked. I know the Internet connection is good, and I can find no trouble with the streaming service, it is just the Roku stick that has a problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got my Roku about a year ago and it worked great until today. Now the control does absolutely nothing. I changed the batteries in case that was the reason, but it didn't make any difference at all.

Really loving my Roku. Just switched over from Chromecast. It was way too glitchy. Sometimes connecting or disconnecting. Roku is much more dependable. And it all places all my subscription on my tv screen even thought I am not using a smart tv. It turns my tv into a smart tv. Loving all the extra channels I can get with it too. It also works better with my Apple products and can play my videos and photos on the tv from my phone. I highly recommend this product.

easy setup, quality image, navigation friendly between movie titles or categories. also air play works well with iPad or iPhone.
Only used for a week . no issues so far
