Great for older TVs

SANYO TV bought in 2008 with just 1 HDMI port limited the number of uses. Having ROKU streaming stick control PWR/SOUND/MUTE function is a game changer . Only one remote required . YAY!

Love my Roku

I love my Roku I have on all three of my TV's. I bought my son three of them for his TV's and bought one for my daughter they love streaming with them it is so easy to hook up and navigate. I even told my neighbors about it and they are looking into it.

Supplies our needs

We now use 6 of these Roku streaming sticks. We have 4 in home and 2 in the RV. We have subscriptions to channels carried by Roku. Anywhere there is wifi we can get our channels. We can even create a Hotspot with our phones if need be. We have tried satellite technology on the road. No comparison. Roku is simply the way to go.

These are absolutely terrible for live 4K HDR content. They flash/blink when switching between camera angles to where it's unwatchable. Buy the Ultra don't waste your money. Roku support is also terrible. I've had ticket 13193917 open since 2025 to rectify this issue. They keep giving me the run around even though they are aware of this issue reported by others.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As replacing an older TV with a new larger better image TV is happening around my house more often than not. Placing the old TV’s in every home location I can think of can get expensive when you’re using a rented box.
Roku not only solves this rental box issue but turns the TV in to a portable.
Also works for stacking 2 TV’s using separate controllers the fun
Of muting the sound fun with out effecting the other TV.
