Really annoying problem

When it works, it’s great, but every time I want to use it, it doesn’t turn on. I will use the remote to turn my TV on but the actually streaming stick won’t turn on. It will only turn on after I unplug and replug it’s power which is obviously inconvenient and not ideal
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Here are some things you can try if your Roku stick won't turn on: Check the power connection: Make sure the power outlet is working and that all cables are securely attached. You can try unplugging the power cord for at least 10 seconds and then plugging it back in. If your Roku is connected to a power strip, you can try unplugging it and plugging the power adapter directly into a wall outlet. You can also try using a different power outlet. Restart your device: If your Roku doesn't have a built-in rechargeable battery, you can try restarting it manually. i bought ROKU for a Multimedia Boom Box Hoping to get Local TV and other things, i was let down, i found MOST EVERYTHING i want has a FEE and NO Local TV. Surprize! i found a boombox with an HD TV tuner and was Amazed at what i could get over the air locally! For FREE! doubt Now if i will use ROKU much.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I finally cancelled cable, and from a neighbors recommendation, I purchased 2 Ruku Streaming Sticks. They are so easy to set up and use. The remote is set up for easy to use features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor features

The tv streaming can take several minutes to turn on. The remote control is poorly designed. The “no volume” control is on the right and upper side of the remote. Normal handling by a right handed person inadvertently turns off the sound. Most people are right handed. There is no return feature to return to the previous channel. This causes using the back arrow to restart the Roko feature to take you back to tv. This takes a few minutes. I will recommend this product only because it beats cable pricing.
