I’ve had this for a few weeks now love it! Except that it will not control my hisense smart TV

Remote is problematic

Having problems with the remote. Have to unplug the unit each time to try and access the menu. The remote turns on the TV then none of the button work after that. The remote light goes and and nothing works
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It transfers the dolby atmos soundtrack to my home theater receiver on all streaming services flawlessly unlike some other streaming devices.
I love the 10 second forward and back feature using the arrow keys.
I love that it can pick up my streaming service logins that were entered with my earlier roku purchase.
Only minus....i wish they had a 4k dolby vision and dolby atmos product that would also work with an infrared remote so i could use a universal remote rather than the roku remote. IR and RF options in the same streaming device would be nice so i have a choice of remote.

Hello Roku, goodbye set top boxes

We are a Roku household getting rid of our cable company's set top boxes in favor of using Roku to access our cable company's services and other streaming products. All four of our TV's use a Roku Streaming Stick. The Roku team constantly innovates, a great example is the introduction of Photo Streams which we use to create a photo montage of our memorable vacations.
