I had no idea what Roku was until I recieved one as a gift. I love it. So simple to use, easy install, set up was simple.

It’s faster than Firestick, but ever since I went to Roku, when I turn on my tv, it defaults to some screen listing programs, but that no remote controller seems to control! I have to turn my tv off, then on again, to get back to “normal”. Anyone else have this problem?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Roku streaming device

I set it up to record a show and it said it was recording it, but it recorded something completely different. It showed the proper name of the show, but it was recording an entirely different station. The show was being broadcast on the proper channel. Not happy. Besides the fact that it is always buffering. Sigh.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use

I like the Roku and it is easy to use. The mute button is too sensitive and is often activated by just holding the remote. If I was designing it, I would make the remote bigger to fit better in the hand.

I was able to install my Roku equipment without a problem. I never thought I could do
it, so I thought about it for a year and finally just did it. I'm 78 years old, and I think Roku is the best thing to happen to TV since the invention of color TV.

Loved it while it worked.

Loved the speed and mute button upgrade. However, the remote freezes every 2 or 3 day and we have to go through the reset process each time. The last time even that didn't correct the issue. Ended up plugging our Firestick back in sadly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
