My old roku started having problems so purchased a new 4k and am very happy. Have used roku for close to ten years and have never been disappointed in how the stick works.

Almost lives up to its reviews online

Got this for a spare room and there are lots of commercials especially on YouTube more than if you're online. The hardest part is trying to look for something to watch or watch something you've watched before. I saved a bunch of items and then when I looked under favorites none of them were there. The voice assist search helps because you do a lot of searching. On the bright side it's cheaper than adding another dish box.

A very capable system

My wife and I recently acquired access to high speed internet allowing us to consider streaming as an alternative to our Dish Network system. We have enjoyed the Dish service for more than 25 years. Some things are superior on the ROKU but we are missing some features we liked with the old system. For to retired people in our 70s the learning curve has been steep but we are getting along. Value wise, we are happy to be spending less per month and the provider we chose offers most of what we are accustomed to and a lot of new alternatives. We are glad we made the switch.
