I bought a Streaming Stick 4k a few eeks ago and installed it on a dumb TV I've mounted in front of my treadmill. Having the Streaming Stick available has made my treadmill workouts so much easier to do. I was so impressed that I bought a second one last week and installed it on my main TV so I could have access to streaming if there was nothing on cable I wanted to watch. The streaming Stick 4k is an incredible product for the price.

Good device but could be faster

Good steaming stick. We estimate it’s 25% slower compared to our 2024 Roku TVs. But, if you’re looking to upgrade/salvage an older television this is a good fit.

The remote works but I have to turn on the tv then turn it off to get the Roku page to come on

Hey there, thanks for sharing. This does not sound quite right and we have a couple of suggestions that may help! Some Roku players like yours have a feature called 1-touch play. This setting will allow your TV to automatically switch its active source/input to your Roku player’s home screen when any button on your Roku remote is pressed. To enable 1-touch play, go into your Roku's Settings> System> Control other devices> 1-touch, and check the box.
