Roku an excellent value

I have little interest in TV as such, but a consuming interest in the Criterion Channel. Roku provides the only technical means for delivering Criterion to my equipment without continual interrupted performance. It has been a totally reliable tool. --twc

Dislike Remote

The Roku device seems to work well. I enjoy the compatibility of all the applications. I very much dislike the remote. I have had to repair a few times bc it just stops working. I also hate how there is no back light which makes it super difficult to see any of the smaller buttons at night.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi Lura, thanks for your feedback. The most common reason why Roku remotes often unpair from their devices is because of issues with power or Wi-Fi networks. Firstly, check if the batteries are inserted correctly and clear any debris. Also, make sure your device has the latest software. To do this, go to Home > Settings > System > Software Update > Check Now. Additionally, for troubleshooting voice remote issues with a Roku device, you can refer to this FAQ article at https://support.roku.com/article/21303049528855#section-3. Roku works most of the time

Pro-Sans Riku device we would be unable to stream the Spectrum app on our LG 4K TV. Cons- neither the device or software allows for directly entering a tv channel. Huge loss of user friendly aspect. Also, time to time you have to "reset" the device (w/device button) to clear the cache. Finally, Roku does not provide a way to clear the 'Recently Watched' list on Spectrum app.
